For an electric stove doesn’t ignite, first check if the appliance is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is on, it means some other part of the oven will have to be fixed. The reason for the problem might be the infinite switch, surface element, oven burner igniter or broil and bake element.
A stove or burner that doesn’t produce heat won’t do much good. An oven doesn’t heat when there’s a broken bake element or oven sensor. Your burner will not fire up if an element is broken or the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We are able to troubleshoot and fix these problems in no more than 1-2 hours after an appointment begins.
You can assume the control panel on a stove is broken when the timer or program functions do not work. If that’s the case, we can fix control boards on LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We provide a warranty on all of the control panels and manufacturer replacement parts we need for this oven repair service.
You want a hot oven. Although not too hot! When the heat is out of control, it might be due to a broken sensor or thermostat. Our appliance repairmen are able to find the cause of the problem and then repair it. But be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of body burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.
A common stove issue is times where an igniter will glow but it will not light. The cause is from either a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or sensor. We are able to determine whether we can fix these parts or if we will need to replace the parts.
New self-cleaning ovens are known to experience door issues often. The door won’t open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door closure, thermostat and seal to find out why the door will not open and then we complete the repair in order to correct the issue.
